Mission Review

It is now over 20 year since, after much prayer and discussion, the Church at Abington Avenue came together around a vision to serve young families and the elderly. That decision inspired us to rebuild our buildings, find volunteers for many jobs and find funding to employ staff for those jobs we could not do ourselves.

At our May Church Meeting it was agreed that it was time that we had a full review of our Mission. We need to determine what the current needs are, how we are meeting them, what resources we are using and what future opprtunities there may be.

As part of the review we are consulting with users of the activities we run as well as the paid staff and the volunteers who provide these activities.

The Volunteers Consultation form can be downloaded by clicking here. Completed forms ( One copy for each of the activities you volunteer for) should be returned to the Church Office or left in reception in the Church Secretary's 'pidgeon hole' by August 15th August.
